Word to the Wise is the brainchild of Jo McErvale; a professional communicator with 15 years' experience in purposeful and passionate writing, media production and project management.
A qualified journalist, Jo has written for The Age newspaper in Melbourne and worked in broadcast production for ABC Television News and Current Affairs. Taking communications into the development realm, she was a journalism educator and media advisor in remote Papua New Guinea and, later, contributed to program development and communications for not-for-profit Australian-based development agencies Oxfam Australia and the Brotherhood of St Laurence.
Jo's concise editing and copywriting capacity, and tell-it-straight style will ensure no apostrophes are abused on the way to achieving your communications potential. A collaborative, problem-solving approach means projects always begin with the development of a clear brief and an agreed sense for how the planned product will fit within your broader business and marketing strategy.
